Intellectual Property, Bioethics, Biosafety And Biosecurity (BMIB 6413)
This course introduces students to some important aspects of intellectual property rights, biosafety and bioethics in biotechnology. It covers areas from patent in biotechnology with various national and international guidelines, biosafety guidelines and regulation for GMO, ethical aspect of genetic engineering such as human genome project, stem cell research and organ transplantation until the risk and reliability in recent global issues.
